In [[1994]] Andrew Horrocks, along with wife [[Margaret Ellen Horrocks]] opened [[A.M.E. Recording Studio]] in [[Kitchener]], and things have been busy ever since.


The thing that makes A.M.E. such a great place for artistic growth and expression is the fact that Andrew himself had been a signed recording artist from 1987 to 2001. Understanding the creative side of things as well as the technical side of things is the key. In 1987, Andrew's band "[[The Awakening]]" recorded the first of three internationally released albums. Then with longtime song writing partner [[Ian Tanner]], another four albums were released to a worldwide audience through the band [[One Hundred Days]]. These recordings were critically received and provided touring opportunities throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Now, after having recorded/produced or contributed to the recording of over 150 albums, Andrew brings experience, understanding, creativity, and depth to the recording process. AME is also a Mixing and Mastering Facility.
