[[Johnny Nixon]] was born in Scarborough, Ontario, and after being obsessed with guitars in particular and music in general, studied music at Humber College. When he was 23 years old Johnny came to be a Christian at Kingdom Bound through the encouragement of a couple of college friends. Johnny is an accomplished guitarist who has been heard as a studio musician on over 100 CD's and who has three CD's to his own credit. In addition, Johnny is in charge of praise and worship at Pleasant Valley and recently spearheaded an effort to produce a Christmas CD to raise funds for the church's building fund.

When not involved in Pleasant Valley activities, Johnny owns and operates Johnny's Guitar School, providing lessons and workshops for those interested in learning to play or improving their ability with guitars.
