The Word Guild is an association of Canadian writers and editors who are Christian, and who are committed to encouraging one another and fostering standards of excellence in the art, craft, business and ministry of writing. Their desire is to impact the Canadian identity through the words of Canadian writers and editors with a Christian worldview.
When Faith Today magazine founded the "God Uses Ink" conference in 1984, it was virtually the only point of connection and nurturing for Christian writers in Canada.
Today, much has changed. God Uses Ink is known as Write! Canada, and there are many more opportunities for Canadian writers who are Christian.
