The growing HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa has met its match in Rev. James Cantelon, the host of Canada's popular Eye to Eye TV show. The pandemic is devastating much of sub-Saharan Africa, and with the support from former US President Bill Clinton, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Stephen Lewis, and Rick Warren to fight the pandemic, HIV/ AIDS is at last becoming an international "front-burner" issue. The ramifications of the disease in countries where drugs and therapies are not available are beyond belief. What Cantelon proposes is as old as scripture itself-caring for the widows and orphans ravaged by AIDS. He calls upon churches around the world to join the desperate fight to stem the spread of AIDS. When God Stood Up is Cantelon's eloquent manifesto on how churches can form a delivery mechanism for AIDS-related care for nations in need. The book is Cantelon's response to a series of requests from politicans, clergy, lay-leaders, and youth that he has spoken to at churches, conferences and in consultations around the world. Describing a "faith that works," this inspiring book will help pastors and church lay- leaders to develop a social conscience in their congregations. An answer to cynicism and despair, When God Stood Up will reawaken readers to their role as citizens of the world, especially those young adults who are keen on being activists.

In Theology for the Non-Theologian, he promises to answer the questions of a newer generation of spiritual seekers, addressing such issues as the nature and existence of God, God’s plan, and the why of Creation. Not simply focused on Christian theology, the book describes the godheads of the world’s major religions and movements. With a short overview of each book of the Bible, as well as real-life examples that complement the parables, this new edition of a popular earlier edition promises to bring understanding to the many who wish to know and live by divine grace.
