What is the MIAC Trade Show?

MIAC is Canada's largest trade show for musical instruments and accessories, keyboards, print music, published music, software, professional sound, lighting and video equipment.

MIAC is the Music Industries Association of Canada (MIAC) is a national, non-profit, trade association representing Canadian manufacturers, distributors and retailers of musical instruments and accessories, keyboards, sound reinforcement products and published music.

MIAC was incorporated in 1972 by Canadian Federal Charter and currently has 160 manufacturer and distributor members in all product categories, and 150 retailer members. MIAC is governed by a 15-member Board of Directors (10 manufacturer/distributor directors and 5 retailer directors) which meets regularly to guide and monitor Association activities.

The Association's main event each year is the national MIAC Show / PAL Showcase which is Canada's largest trade event for musical products and pro audio & lighting equipment.

The Association also monitors Canadian industry statistics for product importation and distribution and reports regularily to the MIAC membership.
