Weber holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and Psychology with a minor in Marketing from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he graduated summa cum laude/Phi Beta Kappa. In addition, Weber earned his Master’s degree in Journalism from Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia. An author of several books , Mark Weber has written over 700 published articles for various media since 1986. His work has appeared in Charisma, The National Enquirer, Gospel Today, Details, and Release, as well as on sites like cbn.com, christianactivities.com, christianmusic.about.com, and gospelcity.com. While Christian music has become his forte, Weber loves all types of music, and once wrote about pop, rock, country, gospel, blues, hip-hop, and latin music, and interviewed R&B stars like Dionne Warwick, Tyrese and Mary J. Blige, while serving as the managing editor of the radio and recording industry trade magazine, Behind The Scenes. Recently, Weber appeared as a guest on TV shows like WNYB-TV's "TCT Alive," TimeWarner's "CrossRoads," WIVB-TV's "Insight," WKBW-TV's "AM Buffalo" and "7 News This Morning," and WROC-TV's "Wake Up Rochester." He also became a thrice weekly contributor to ThePraiseHouse.com's global gospel radio webcast, and contributed articles to Maranatha newspaper in Toronto and the Greater Niagara Newspaper chain, with four papers in Western New York. Weber is also a busy actor-host and singer-songwriter, having performed in front of thousands of people on theater stages, in churches, and on radio and television, including promotional spots on The 700 Club TV show, aired internationally. While he works on a solo pop-soul-gospel CD of his own entitled "There Is A Hope," he's also the singer for a professional jazz-pop-classics band, Uptown, singing great tunes like "Fly Me To The Moon," "Ain't She Sweet," and "Walk On By," usually at senior homes in the metropolitan Buffalo, New York region where he lives. Currently, Weber owns and maintains ChristianMusicMonthly.com and operates an e-mail list called the Holy Arc Network uniting Christians in Toronto, Buffalo, and Rochester with news of upcoming Christian events.
