Christian Radio Station VOAR 1210 AMVOAR 1210 AM broadcasting from Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland As a member of the Adventist Radio Network VOAR is a Canadian Christian Radio ministry owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Newfoundland & Labrador. Having began the Station's History in the autumn of 1929, today VOAR continues to use the specialized methods of the broadcast industry to serve Eastern Newfoundland, VOAR shares the Gospel by providing Christian music, programs and public service in response to community needs. VOAR will provide Christian programming intended to stimulate study of God's Word the Bible. VOAR's primary target are persons age 25-44 years-old, interested in Contemporary Christian music, news, community information and family issues programming. VOAR is a public relations service of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Newfoundland & Labrador, and will operate within the framework of CRTC guidelines which prohibit the exclusive espousing of a single faith. VOAR will provide to Seventh-day Adventist young people and other iterested persons opportunity for training and participation in broadcasting and radio station operations.
