Locus 3 Entertainment was a gospel music entertainment network operating out of Toronto from May 23, 2003 to November 30, 2004. It was founded by Del Miller and someone else.

Locus 3 Entertainment was the online ministry division of Degree 3 Solutions Inc. They served as an avenue for the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the promotion of Christian music, literature, events and other mediums intended for this purpose. Essentially they desired to build and grow a highly desirable online destination for Toronto’s exploding population of Christians.

The name "Locus 3" has been the source of much intrigue and curiosity. They were constantly asked "what does Locus 3 mean?" The Oxford definition of the word locus is "locality or the exact place of something". However, the definition that they used is "a center or focus of great activity or intense concentration" because this more closely describes the essence of how they desired to view "Locus 3" . As for the "3", its definition is quite simple. It represents God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Together, "Locus 3" means "God is here" from which their slogan was derived - where the Spirit is!

Mission Was
To provide wholesome interactive and entertaining content to the teen and young adult market segment.

Online Members: to provide our members with a safe and dynamic online destination where they can voice their opinions, interact and be informed of Christian activities within their local.

Advertising Partners: to work as a strategic partner in effectively delivering relevant brand and product messages which win the hearts and minds of our target demographic.

The goal of the Artist Directory is to give Canadian Christian music artists a platform to gain even greater exposure. Use the Locus 3 Artist Directory has a platform to network with other Canadian artists or just allow your listeners to find out more about you and your ministry!

Parting Words as Locus 3 Entertainment Closed
Locus3.com went online May 25, 2003 and since then the team has had a great run and a wonderful time producing the website. Above all we sincerely appreciate the relationships we have formed, the experience and, lessons learned.

But like most things in life, seasons change and good things sometimes do come to an end. The Locus3.com team thank you for your kindness and support over this season, as team we have decided to discontinue the website. Locus3.com will go offline on November 13, 2004. However due to its functionality and popularity the event calendar will remain as a community resource.

I am sure you have questions and concerns, why would we bring Locus3.com to an end? To answer this question we as a team would say, "Locus3.com was not strategically positioned to successfully execute on the vision placed in our hearts. Because of this we decided it would be wise to focus our attention on new ventures that would allow us to realize our goals." Be aware the dream is still alive; I for one will not stop. The children of God will dominate the media and all will hear the message of Christ.
