What is state of mine?state of mine is more than just your average pop rock band. Originally formed over 10 years ago, this band has shared its ‘freedom message’ music with thousands across the country, and have sold over 1,500 independent CDs without the support of a record company or a distribution deal. This is grassroots rock at its ground level. The message behind state of mine is quite simple. You can be free. Life can be more than a circle that you just keep running around in. Life can be far greater than just trying to get through today, in anticipation of trying all over again tomorrow. Once one has realized their reason for living, then real life really begins. The gospel message wrapped up in a radio-friendly pop rock style that has been compared to the likes of Canadian rockers Lowest of the Low meeting Blue Rodeo listening to 54-40. Something for everyone. Their high energy yet respectfully mature show is not your typical local youth event band. This band brings the whole nine yards with them, including curtained back-drops, drum risers, lighting system, smoke machines, entire PA system with sound engineers – plus a full merchandise table offering music, apparel, stickers, badges, posters, as well as literature from partnering organization like “Rock For Life” and “Youth Pledge”. state of mine concerts are not only affordable, but have been recently arranged in such a way as to allow the hosting church/venue to have the opportunity to actually raise money themselves through hosting a show.
