Fitzroy Gordon is the Maja Awards International president. His Caribbean and African Radio Network (CARN) was recently awarded a license by the Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission (CTRC), to operate a commercial Caribbean/African radio station in Toronto.
According to Gordon, this will be the first station that offers Caribbean music and news magazine format-programming in the community 24 hours a day/7 days a week, with a dynamic gospel influence and a connection with the churches.
