In 2001 Larry Matthews won the Leslie K. Tarr Award. This award celebrates a major career contribution to Christian writing in Canada.
His interest in not-for-profit agencies led him to 15 years of service in senior denominational roles, including program management and government relations, and specializing in communications, fundraising and constituency relations. Larry has served on a number of not-for-profit boards and committees. As both staff and a volunteer, he has broad experience in situation analysis and planning in not-for-profit agencies. Today, Larry Matthews is a partner in KMA Consultants Inc. an organization helping charities and other not-for-profit agencies.
