Who is Kristen McNulty ?

Kristen McNulty (born 1983) is a radio host and author. She resides in Timmins, Ontario from where she hosts the internationally syndicated MAD Christian Radio Show. Kristen has written numerous articles for various Christian publications and her first book "Walking Through A Fallen World" is due to be released Fall 2006.

Some people dream about becomming a rock star or being launched into space. Not Kristen McNulty. At an early age Kristen began dreaming about what it would be like to see her name on the front of a book.

"I've always been a dreamer," explains Kristen. At the age of 17 she had a dream of seeing a youth radio show on the local Christian Radio station. Fast forward two years and not only is the MAD Christian Radio Show on the air, but Kristen is hosting and producing it. Now Kristen is seeing life-long dream being fulfilled right before her eyes. "Since I knew how to write, I always wanted to write a book," says Kristen, "My room is filled with notes made on little scraps of paper. For as far back as I can remember I would spend hours listening to music and writing. It looks like those little scraps of paper are finally going to be put to use."

In a partnership with Big Fish Publishing, Kristen's first book Walking Through A Fallen World will be hitting book stores as early as before Christmas.

"Walking Through A Fallen World is not the book I dreamed about writing as a child because in order to write such a book, I would have to have a lot of experience in that department. Unfortunately it doesn't take too many years to go by before we realize that we truly are walking through the mess left in this fallen world."

After writing the article Molded By The Potter for Relevant Magazine, Kristen realized that this was the topic that she was supposed to write on and started exploring the area further.

"Why bad things happen is a topic that has always interested me, because let's face it- things don't always go according to plan. We get sick, people pass away, tragedies hit, and it's easy to wonder where exactly does God and our faith fit into all of this? Two years ago my faith was really shaken when I faced a series of bad events and was left with a lot of questions and therefore did a lot of searching. This book is a result of my search."
