Michael Hart
Michael Hart is a Christian musician. His 20-year track record bears a clear witness. His sixth release is the culmination of four years of work. It is an offering that seeks to draw listeners to a place of encounter and blessing.
Michael's purpose is to allow God to use him so that that faith might be strengthened. His passion is to serve in a context of community, worship and faith building. His God given talents serve him well in creating music that serves a wide range of ministry contexts, while staying faithful to his calling. He is worshipful. He is exciting and yet thoughtful. His music probes the mystery of God, reminding us of His character and goodness. He is nothing if not versatile, and yet his voice - a rasp edged tenor, sinewy and silky all at once - weaves the songs and styles together.
An accomplished guitarist, dulcimer player and singer, Michael strives to bring people together to ponder and serve their Maker and Redeemer. His high-energy concerts feature percussion, call and response and full worship services. His remarkable high tenor voice, transparent vision, and melding of diverse musical traditions has delighted audiences of wide age ranges. He values and relies on prayer and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit for each community event. He also teaches workshops on worship and songwriting.
