A.M.E. Recording Studio
In 1994 Andrew Horrocks, along with wife Margaret Ellen Horrocks opened A.M.E. Recording Studio in Kitchener, and things have been busy ever since.
The thing that makes A.M.E. such a great place for artistic growth and expression is the fact that Andrew himself had been a signed recording artist from 1987 to 2001. Understanding the creative side of things as well as the technical side of things is the key. In 1987, Andrew's band "The Awakening" recorded the first of three internationally released albums. Then with longtime song writing partner Ian Tanner, another four albums were released to a worldwide audience through the band One Hundred Days. These recordings were critically received and provided touring opportunities throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe.
Now, after having recorded/produced or contributed to the recording of over 150 albums, Andrew brings experience, understanding, creativity, and depth to the recording process. AME is also a Mixing and Mastering Facility.
