Jake Peters

Just north of Olds Alberta is a small, wood-heated shop which houses the talents of Jake Peters. As an accomp- lished award-winning flat picker, bango wizard, mandolin virtuoso; just about anything with strings is fair game to Jake. Jake’s finesse not only lies with his musical ability but also displays itself as a fine meticulous luthier, designing and building guitars and mandolins, as well as sought after for his repair and restoration work. As a musician he is a delight to watch, hear and feel, especially the spontaneous interaction that evolves when he works with other musicians.
