Allen Froese was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and grew up in the suburb of Newmarket, Ontario. He became a Christian at the age of seven and around the same time he began learning to play the piano. He later reconfirmed his commitment to follow the Lord at the age of fourteen and began leading worship at his church youth group. He introduced his first worship compositions at youth and was encouraged to see the positive response. During his teen years his passion for God and music deepened and he felt the call to study Theology. After Bible College, he worked in the business world while remaining actively involved ministering in worship across Ontario and in his local church. He assisted in planting 2 churches and in 2004 he went into full-time worship ministry. He experienced a season of equipping and mentoring in New Jersey, USA as an assistant pastor where he was involved in a variety of ministries including worship, songwriting, youth, young adults, drama, and teaching and is now the worship pastor at Tehillah Toronto in Toronto, Ontario where he continues to minister and teach on worship. (Tehillah Toronto is a ministry of Overflow Ministries International). Allen has also recently become the Canadian Regional Contributor for Worship Leader Magazine. His approach to worship is influenced by these principles he has learned from veteran worship leaders: Integrity˜a commitment to living a holy life that is pleasing to God and being authentic and open with God in worship, Accessibility˜to lead worship in a way that encourages participation, Intimacy˜to help people connect with God in a deep and personal way, Prophetically˜to lead in the anointing of the Holy Spirit being sensitive to where God directs the worship service. http://www.tehillahtoronto.com/whoweare/allen.html
