Though she wrote some pop and country songs at first, she felt something was missing. A committed Roman Catholic, she turned to writing songs grounded in faith and love. It was and is her strongest wish to write songs which reflect her own experiences as a follower of Jesus. Denise and her husband moved to Regina in 2001 and she took the opportunity to follow her heart and faith more fully. She reduced her law practice to part-time so she could spend more time on her music. She has now released her debut CD entitled "Who I Am", which is available in Christian stores throughout Saskatchewan.
