New International Version (NIV) Bible The New International Version (NIV) Bible is a modern translation of the Bible produced by the International Bible Society. The New International Version (NIV) Bible is published by Zondervan. International Bible Society (IBS), founded in 1809 with a successive history as a provider of millions of Bibles globally, merged with Send The Light (STL), the largest Christian distributor of Christian resources in the world, on March 1, 2007. The combined organization operates as IBS-STL Global.
