In 1996, Sally (then “Spalton”) recorded with renowned producer Brian Gagnon (the Hunt, Sony BMG) and performed her original contemporary Christian music (rock, pop and ballots) across Canada and the US. In 1998, the debut of her first CD demo “Phases” was heard on radio stations throughout Canada, U.S., UK, and Australia. She has written songs and sung leads as a studio session vocalist for various recording studios across Ontario. Sally has sung dozens of solos behind a 35 piece praise & worship choir at the Christian Life Centre in Ajax, Ontario, performing for congregations of 1000+ people. Sally has performed at hundreds of wedding ceremonies, baptisms, and church services across Ontario. Sally has been featured on 3 CGMA collaboration cd’s and has an original song on file with the legendary Anne Murray. Sally has performed duo with Canadian jazz pianist sensation Gordie Brown and has toured the A-circuit with RUMBLESEAT; a John Cougar-Mellencamp tribute. She has hosted and guest appeared at various karaoke shows across the city and is a paid “Ringer” - hired by karaoke hosts to perform at private parties and ‘get the party started’. Sally continues dazzling the musical community, demonstrating her 3½ octave range and musical versatility. What Sally hears most from her audience is her ability to sing anything! From powerful rock and sultry blues to energetic pop, grovin’ funk, sexy jazz, foot-stompin' hand-clappin' Gospel to down home country, this gal’s awesome dynamics can pull off a song and leave the audience thirsting for more!
