Who is Margaret Graham?

Margaret has been singing for as long as she can remember. As the youngest of six siblings growing up in Scotland and then Ireland she was often pulled from behind the couch to sing with the others at their various family gatherings. As reluctant as she may have seemed at the time it became obvious as she grew into a young woman that her ability to sing was not something that should be hidden.

After immigrating to Canada in 1983 from Northern Ireland, it wasn't very long until she surrendered her life to Jesus and so began the adventure of faith that she has since given her life to. Her singing gift has progressively moved to the forefront in the ministry to which she has been called.

In 1990 , Margaret stepped into full-time ministry along side her husband Richard to plant a new church and take on the role of senior pastors at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church in Calgary, AB. It soon became apparent that Margaret had great vision to build the worship ministry at the church and over the years it has become obvious that the vision has been blessed. From small beginnings, where it was Margaret on vocals and her husband on guitar, the worship team at Harvest has grown to over 30 musicians with 6 gifted worship leaders. Margarets vision is not contained in the local church as she loves to go out and take teams to other places to help them grow into their gifting both musically and spiritually.

As a worship leader; Margarets passion is to draw others into the presence of God and she does that in such a gentle and inviting way that people from every background are touched and impacted as they experience Gods peace and presence in ways that they may not have experienced before. Margaret also loves to encourage new and upcoming singers to become the very best they can be. Through teaching workshops, seminars and by making room for new singers to activate their gift she has been instrumental in helping many take steps of faith towards their purpose. Margaret has been called upon to lead worship at various conferences and events, some have been small intimate gatherings and others have been large city events. It really doesnt matter which, Margaret is equally at home. She has had the privilege of working with other gifted worship leaders like Robin Mark, Brian Doerksen, Lianna Klassen, Kent Henry, Steve Fry, and Lamar Boshman. Margarets abilities have developed in other directions as well; she has become a much sought after teacher and equipper in the areas of Worship and Spiritual Growth and has had many opportunities to speak and teach at various gatherings.

Margaret is the visionary behind the Rivers of Worship equipping conferences to help equip local churches to release a free flowing anointing through worship. In 2001 she connected with her Irish heritage and invited Robin Mark and Paul Reid from Belfast, Northern Ireland to come and minister at the conference; it was a tremendous success and a testimony of unity as various churches came together to make it happen. Margaret is the Worship Pastor at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church where she pastors with her husband Richard.
