The Prayz Joynt was an urban gospel hip-hop radio show broadcast on CJYE JOY 1250 AM in Oakville, Ontario. The show aired from July 20, 2002 to October 28, 2005. The Prayz Joynt was honored November 2 as Radio Program of the Year at the 2002 Covenant Awards, held November 2, 2002 in Barrie, Ontario by the Canadian Gospel Music Association. Host Bobby Sunday aka DeShaun Jones was also named disc jockey of the year. The program is aired Saturdays 5 to 9 pm on JOY 1250, reaching a potential audience of almost seven million listeners in the Greater Toronto area.
