The House of James is a Canadian Christian bookstore founded in 1970 by a group of teenagers and pastors who assembled to talk about how to put their faith to work and reach the young people of Mission, British columbia. The store progressed from a coffeehouse ministry to a small bookstore and drop-in centre, and by the grace of God continued to grow. As growth continued, in May of 1997 they moved to their current location on Emerson Street in Abbotsford, British columbia.
Our Mission The House of James exists to be the best provider of Christian resources, quality gift items and coffee; practicing excellence, integrity and a Christ like servant attitude in everything we do.
