Irving Hexham is Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Calgary. He has published over twenty academic books, including The Irony of Apartheid and Texts on Zulu Religion, as well as numerous academic articles and book reviews. His works also include the Zondervan Christian Travelers Guides and Understanding Cults and New Religions.
