To quote Joanie about her music ministry: "I hope to give encouragement to my Christian peers, as well as receive encouragement from rehearsing the loving kindness in the example shown to us by God when Jesus humbled himself and died on the cross in our place so that we might have peace with God. Rather than 'headline' anywhere, I strive to 'underline' everywhere I go the message of salvation. No, it's not easy in the shadow of the cross, but I hold to His nail scarred hand, and that way I won't turn back."
