Kirsten Femson is a young teen who lives in Pickering, Ontario with her family. She has competed at the national level with other athletes on the Canadian swim team and is very active in sports, school, and in her church. She has been on several TV shows discussing her book, "The Way They Should Go: Timeless Advice for the Teen Journey" — Our Countries’ Top Leaders Share Their Wisdom With Our Youth (Castle Quay Books), and sharing the advice she received from the array of leaders and celebrities who offered their wisdom to our nations’ teens, collected from their years of experience.

As a grade school graduate going into high school, Kirsten felt the weight of her rite of passage into the unknown. Sensing she and her classmates needed some extra guidance and wisdom as they journeyed into the next phase of adulthood, she asked several leading members of our countries if they would send their advice to her and her mates on preparing for the next step in life.

She received an unexpected and overwhelming response from political, business, entertainment and sports leaders, and celebrities who offered the wisdom they had collected from years of experience. Here in this edition is some of the most inspiring and instructional wisdom ever written from more than 90 top leaders to help our teens as they make their way in a complex world.
