I am an everyday person who loves to worship an extra-ordinary God … and it’s even better when I get to do it with others of like mind. This has been a driving passion in me ever since I was a teenager … to join with others in worshipping and celebrating our LORD.

I grew up in a Christian home and gave my life to the Lord when I was only 5 years old. I have always been singing, (so my brothers would tell you as I annoyed them often - especially on family trips!) and started writing songs when I was 13. At the age of 19, I married this wonderful guy named Bruce - and we now have 5 grown children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, a beautiful grand-daughter and another one on the way -- grand-baby that is!!

Music has always been a huge part of my life. I started singing publicly when a friend of ours overheard me singing while doing the dishes. He practically made me sing in front of our little congregation. I was 12 … and I was terrified! I think my guitar strap fell off at the end of the song & I couldn’t even finish…

God has a way of maturing us if we let Him, serving only to enhance the different gifts that He liberally gives to us all. He has used many circumstances to shape who I am today, and lovingly continues that process. His timing is always right. I’ve had the privilege of learning through blessing and through tragedy; through unconditional love and through rejection. God has given me a wonderful life and I thank Him for every experience as more and more I know that the ‘glory of knowing Him far outweighs any pain’ I may have endured thus far. God is faithful and He has always led me past my anger & distrust to finding Him again. It’s to Him that I sing. It’s because of Him that I write and share. And it’s to Him that I endeavor to bring others.

The songs on ‘the View’ reflect some of that journey. ‘Meet Me’ is my turn-around song as it was birthed in one of my deepest moments of despair. It thrills me and humbles me that so many use this song corporately and privately. I am in the process of writing new songs now with others from our church (Yeschurch) and hope to release a new album soon that will reflect the songs & worship flowing from there.

What is my calling? It is not unlike yours... "to lift Jesus high where-ever I go and to make disciples of all nations..." (Matthew 28:20). May we ever be faithful and focused on giving Jesus to the world in everything that we do.
