Zamar is a Hebrew word that means to make music to God.

Zamar lounge is a swanky, ultra-cool lounge in northern Toronto that will have your head spinning at its outrageous design and general deportment. The décor is all clean lines, airy space, and cozy booths - a definite nod to the coolness that we see in Hollywood North.

Guests sip mocktail's and eat appetizing cuisine while taking in the live sounds of inspirational and romantic R&B, neo soul, smooth jazz, funk and contemporary gospel. Zamar presents the social refuge for adults looking for an alternative night out that mixes inspirational harmony with positive ambience.

The music is sweet every single time. From the eclectic sounds of jazz fusion to the smooth vibes of neo soul, ZAMAR lounge present a wide rage of rhythm orientated music that feeds the soul while lifting up the name of the most high.

The Zamar Lounge is held at York University.
