If you were to ask Martine, she would say that this was the hardest time she has every endured, but in the end it has made her stronger as a person, Singer Songwriter and as a Worship Leader. Martine credits the inspiration for her first album was derived by moments of tears, joy, sadness and pain. Songs like “You Will Carry Me”, was inspired by her Mother’s illness, and was written out of a corner of Life she felt she could not escape. Martine’s music proceeded to pour out of her on to paper during a time of 18 years in the middle of her Mothers fight with a deadly liver Disease. “Inspiration sometimes has a perplexed way of showing itself, but so does God and he is always there. So you take it all, the good the bad and the ugly.” - Martine During Live performances, the message that stems from the inspiration that is behind these songs and from Martine’s heart is hope. “My music brings a message of hope, trust and compassion. People everywhere have a story, sometimes good, sometimes bad.
