One month after Martine’s debut album [[Here to Stay]], hit radio, Tragedy struck as Martine’s Mother passed away.

If you were to ask Martine, she would say that this was the hardest time she has every endured, but in the end it has made her stronger as a person, Singer Songwriter and as a Worship Leader.

Martine credits the inspiration for her first album was derived by moments of tears, joy, sadness and pain. Songs like “You Will Carry Me”, was inspired by her Mother’s illness, and was written out of a corner of Life she felt she could not escape.

Martine’s music proceeded to pour out of her on to paper during a time of 18 years in the middle of her Mothers fight with a deadly liver Disease.
