What is 4Given?

4Given is a gospel music group made up of four members, Mark and Evangeline Inman, Dave McLaughlin and Darlene Lemmon. The group was formed in January 2004. All members have been singing gospel music for many years as soloists, choir members and in various singing groups.

Evangeline Inman is also President of the Women Who Worship conferences. 4Given is a regular featured artist at “Women Who Worship” (www.womenwhoworship.com) conferences across Canada. In 2005, 4Given had the opportunity to sing at their conferences in Surrey, BC and Grand Falls-Windsor, NF. The conference in Fredericton in April 2006 was host to 1,600 women. The group also leads worship in many churches where they minister. Their mission is to spread a message of love and hope through Christ and share what God has done in their own personal lives.

In July 2004 4Given opened up at the WorshipEast '04 Summer Concert Series for Grammy and Dove Award recipient Rebecca St. James.

4Given has partnered with Compassion Canada that helps underprivileged children all over the world through their sponsorship plan. 4Given members, Evangeline and Mark Inman visited Compassion’s mission sites in Nicaragua in 2005.

In addition, 4Given has also performed at various community events with such organizations as the Cancer Society, Samaritan House for Battered Women, Bridges of Canada, an international prison ministry and Angel Street, an outreach for those living on the streets.

4Given released their second album “We Look To You” at the end of April 2006. In May 2006 the group signed a distribution contract with CMC. 4Given’s first self-entitled CD received a 2004 Covenant Award nomination by the Canadian Gospel Music Association for Inspirational - Album of the Year category.
