Artists in Christian Testimony

Artists in Christian Testimony mobilizes, sends out, equips & supports artistic ministers and missionaries who are dedicated to evangelizing the lost and building up the Body of Christ in line with the Bible’s mandates for the New Testament Church.

Byron Spradlin started Artists in Christian Testimony International in September 1973. But since his clear commitment to Christ in 1968 while in Asia with the Continental Singers, he'd been doing ministry through music, creative worship and evangelism. In 1970 he even became one of the first solo recording artists on Light Records (Edge of Drifting released in January of 1971) when what we now know as contemporary Christian music was just beginning. During that same 1970, Byron wrote down the assignment from God that’s guided his ministry efforts ever since then: to disciple and mentor people out of music and the arts, working them into the fabric of Church, Missions & Marketplace ministry around the world.

A.C.T. Intl started out with a core commitment to Discipleship of Arts Ministry Servants. A.C.T. Intl is an evangelical, interdenominational missionary and ministry sending agency for artistic ministries and missionaries—out of all disciplines of the arts and media—called to serve in missions and ministry services of the Historic New Testament Christian Church.

The distinctive of A.C.T. Intl is that it focuses especially on enabling Christians entrusted with artistic abilities and methods to carry out their ministry calling as true ministers and missionaries of the Gospel of Christ.

Their Mission

To unleash an army of artistic missionaries, ministers, and ministries spreading the Gospel throughout the world in creative and artistic ways. This growing army of artistic ministries and missionaries creatively evangelizes those outside the Christian faith, while it edifies those within the Church, through artistic personnel, methods, and strategies.

Their Vision

To provide a non-profit interdenominational Church ministry structure that assists & sends out artistic missionaries and ministers who are pursuing their unique mission or ministry calling as it fits into the greater Kingdom work of the Historic New Testament Christian Church worldwide.

A.C.T. Intl oversees over 120 creative, music and arts oriented missionaries and ministries in eight countries and 22 States in the USA.
