What was the CKOE Pre-Rolling Stones Concert? The CKOE Pre-Rolling Stones Concert was held on Saturday September 3, 2005 near the Magnetic Hill concert site in Moncton, New Brunswick. So why did CKOE 107.3 FM have a pre-Rolling Stones concert? They had a captured audience of over 8-10,000 secular party go-ers as our concert was on a 4 acre plot next to the largest Rolling Stone Concert campground. Imagine the cheers the groups got once we told them they were listening to Christian Rock! Most have never been exposed to a quality Christian concert. Was it successful? You bet! Financially we lost a ton of money but we estimate 8-10000 non Christians came to our grounds to enjoy the concert. Many passing by in their cars as well as tons of foot traffic. It was nice to get feed back from people holding their Bud-light beer cans saying "I am going to check out this radio station it's good music" Oh yes...it was a free concert put on by CKOE fm 107.3. I know...you are saying I never heard about it. That is because we did not advertise it as it was meant for the Mainstream audience to introduce them to Christian Hit Music.
