Published in 2004 by John Hawkins and Dee Hawkins, of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, the monthly paper provided "articles of general interest to Christians, employing a Maritime flavour, combined with national happenings." The inaugural edition of 5,000 copies was distributed primarily in the metro Halifax area, with limited distribution to rural Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
