Crossroads Family of Ministries
Crossroads Family of Ministries is a Canadian Christian communications ministry.
100 Huntley Street, the flagship television program of Crossroads Christian Communications, was the first daily Christian television program in Canada. Started in 1977 by Crossroads founder Rev. David Mainse, 100 Huntley Street continues to bring the message of Jesus Christ to millions of Canadians from coast to coast. Hosted by Ron Mainse and Rhonda Glenn, 100 Huntley Street presents life-changing stories, inspirational music, Biblical teaching and two-way communication in a resourceful and entertaining one-hour telecast.
A team of television journalists report from across the nation, producing relevant and compelling segments documenting how the Gospel is making a difference in the fabric of our culture. Reynold and Kathy Mainse host one day a week with an emphasis on "faith at work" through our Crossroads missions endeavours around the world and here at home. 100 Huntley Street is "Life-Changing Television," created by a dedicated production team of individuals who are committed to sharing the love of Christ to all people.
Crossroads Missions
Since 1982, Crossroads has been involved in Emergency Response & Development. Through Crossroads, caring Canadians have responded to those suffering the aftermath of destruction, death and psychological trauma - typically caused by natural disasters, wars, and extreme poverty in the developing world.
Reynold and Kathy Mainse are excited to lead Crossroads Missions into the future. With great passion, they desire to encourage those of us in the developed world to embrace the hurting with God's love and alleviate the suffering that many are experiencing in the most devastated countries on earth.
24 Hour National Prayer Centre
Crossroads' National Ministry Centre provides coast-to-coast spiritual support. The ministry prayer lines provide two-way communication for the viewers of 100 Huntley Street and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The prayer lines are answered primarily by volunteers whose combined service totals more than 25,000 hours per year of vital ministry to the nation of Canada and beyond. Every month, the ministry receives calls from more than 30,000 hurting people, representing a wide range of needs.
The Crossroads outreach recently expanded into the medium of radio with a weekday broadcast called Huntley Street Radio.
Each episode presents outstanding guests featured on the 100 Huntley Street television program, bringing dynamic examples of the power of God's love. The upbeat format addresses today's current issues, offering the airwaves "Relevant Radio.
Circle Square Ranches
Circle Square Ranches are Christian-based, non-profit camps welcoming children and youth of any faith and race. Young lives are encouraged to grow spiritually, mentally, socially, and physically in an exciting, fun-filled, western adventure. Campers are invited to consider what the Bible has to say about them, as well as their relationship with God and each other. There are 10 locations throughout Canada, providing an opportunity for over 9,000 campers each summer to experience a life-changing adventure.
At Circle Square Ranch we believe that every child needs to hear the Good News about Jesus' love. That is why we help kids who otherwise could not afford to attend. We are now equipped to accommodate children with disabilities at our newest ranch in Paisley, Ontario.
