Hear the Music MinistriesHear the Music Ministries is a registered charitable organization founded by Canadian Christian artist Jon Buller. It began in 1998 as a Worship event that grew out of the local church in Winnipeg, Manitoba and in 2001 was formally recognized as a charitable ministry. Hear the Music Night has grown since its inception eight years ago and has become a valued part of the community, currently holding an average attendance of 1,500. The vision is a profoundly simple one found in John 12:32. It is to lift up the name of Jesus and in doing so, draw all people to Him. Hear the Music Ministries is doing this across Canada through hosting worship events and mentoring emerging musicians. In addition to HTM nights, Hear the Music has also hosted a variety of training events such as the ‘Worship as Story’ Conference for musicians and worship teams and ‘Hear the Word’ nights for the local community. Under the leadership of Jon Buller, the team has traveled across North America, South America and Eastern Europe. Buller is a Juno nominated artist and has released a total of eight albums and a Live Concert DVD together with HTM. He made the move in 2005 with his family to Vernon, BC and is currently working as the Pastor of Worship & Arts at Vernon Alliance Church. Buller continues to direct Hear the Music Ministries together with a Board of Trustees, a staff member that oversees daily operations, and an extensive network of volunteers and supporters.
