Who is JanelleThe homegrown Albertan sang for Queen Elizabeth II during the dedication of the newly-named Royal Alberta Museum in Edmonton on May 16, 2005. She also made the journey of a lifetime to sing for Pope John Paul II in Rome in March, 2002. Four months later, Janelle performed for close to one million people at World Youth Day Toronto and over one billion live on TV. Her desire is to touch audiences with music and a message that is positive and offers hope to a hurting world. The list of accomplishments for this remarkable recording artist includes New Artist of the Year (Vibe Award, 2003), Best New Artist of the Year (Maja Award, 2003), Female Artist of the Year (Maja Award, 2003) and Best Pop/Contemporary Artist of the Year (Covenant Award, 2003). Janelle has just released her second solo recording, "Livin' for Something". Her first solo album includes the hits "New Day," "Everlasting," "Over My Head" and "Invade." It was produced by fellow-Albertan Steve Rendall of Harvest Music Group at High Pass Studio in Nashville. Janelle grew up in the small French town of Legal, Alberta. She's married to her manager, Life-Vision Communications president Jason Reinhart. The couple has one child, Eric, and currently lives and works in Radway, Alberta.
