3. Hip Hop: A high energy class characterized by free movement of the body in creative and bold mannerisms

4. Jazz: This course is a formal, structured and constant art form with technique and theory.

5. Creative: A compilation of the afore mentioned genres used most commonly as expression in worship.

6. Choreography: Students will take a month of intensive choreography classes in order to prepare for the fine arts production entitled Emotion. They will travel as a group performing in various locations across B.C.

School of Worship & The Arts This school will cause both worshippers and worship leaders to be challenged in their passion for the presence of God. It will lead you into a place of greater maturity in your pursuit of God.

1.Worship and evangelism: Authentic worship in God's presence always urges us past the walls of our lives, guiding us out toward to the world. Because if God is as incredible as we say He is, and if He does the wonderful things we attribute to Him, then we will soon find our hearts intimately linked to His, longing for each and every soul on the earth to shout His praise.

2.The heart of a worshipper: There's more to worship than its outward form. In this class there is an emphasis on the worshipper having the right attitude of heart towards God if his/her worship is to be acceptable. "Worship is essentially spiritual, an attitude and habit of the heart." Andrew Hill, Enter His Courts with Praise, 11.

3.The discipline of a worshipper: Some ideas addressed in this class are as follows: In the new and old covenant, God was, and is, concerned with how his children live. He required of them a whole-hearted response to him that went far beyond the simple and formal observance of set rituals. To this end, the principles of worship, its heart, remain constant throughout the Bible, although outward forms change.

4.Becoming a mature worshipper: ‘…worship becomes the category under which we order everything in our lives. Whatever we do, even if we are simply eating or drinking, whatever we say, in business or in the home or in church assemblies, we are to do all to the glory of God. That is <mature> worship.’ D.A. Carson, ‘Worship under the Word’, in D.A Carson (ed.), Worship by the Book (Zondervan, 2002), 46.

5.Band dynamics: This class will include how to play in a band as a member of a team. How to find balance and achieve unity on a skill level and a spiritual level.

6.The Tabernacle: Covers the significance that the Tabernacle of the Old Testament has in worship and what can be gleaned from the symbolism contained within the tabernacle.

7.Worship leading tensions: This class will address various tensions that one might come up against regarding worship leading including balance, sensitivity to the spirit, awareness of congregation, and much more.
