What was JoyFM?

JoyFM was the original name for radio station CIXN when it was founded by The Joy FM Network Inc.

JoyFM existed to encourage the Christian community by communicating the gospel through Christian music.

As a contemporary Christian radio station, JoyFM seeked to honour God by attesting to the love of God for all people, and by working to build and promote the community's faith in Jesus Christ. It seeked to bring glory to God by the cultivation of respect for the diversity of beliefs and practices within the Christian community.
