Joyful Sounds is a ministry based in Newmarket, Ontario and Brownsburg, Indiana. Established in 1980 by Rob Green, the name was used for a cable TV series. In 1982, the name was used for a radio show on CKAN in Newmarket, Ontario. In 1984, the show was added to CHOO in Ajax and was syndicated worldwide in 1988. The radio show was retired in 1995 although there have been some thoughts of restarting it, perhaps as a retrospective on the 1980s CCM music.
