Album Drawing the Dawn, 2004

Members of The Wildings, Vancouverites Ken Rahn and Tracy Rahn are both outstanding vocalists. Tracy especially excels on 'High & Exalted,' which powerfully anticipates Christ's return; and 'People on our Knees,' a heartfelt plea for healing. Ken stands out on 'You are Good to Me' and 'Close to You.' I was a bit uneasy with the militant 'taking the land' perspective expressed in 'Arise.' But I was more than impressed with the intense shared vocals on 'This is My Joy,' and the wonderful harmonies on 'Easy Yoke' and 'Silence My Thoughts.' All told, a very talented team.

Husband and wife team Ken and Tracy Rahn are both members of the group the Wildings and are based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Jonathan Anderson produced their debut worship album, "Drawing the Dawn".

Ken contributes lead and background vocals, acoustic and electric guitars, high strung, mandolin, and Wurlitzer, while Tracy does lead and backup vocals, percussion, and Wurlitzer. They acknowledge their musical influences to be Kevin Prosch, Heather Clark, and Waterdeep. Ken and Tracy are joined on this solo effort by producer Jon Anderson, and by Chad Bjorgan and Jon Perkins of the Wildings.

The Wildings are involved in "Worship Invasion", a worship ministry to churches within greater Vancouver. Worship events, youth services, camps, conferences, streets, outdoor theatres and beaches are where they can be found cranking out the soul. It is their desire to set the sails and be taken where the winds of heaven blow. To see the Lord touch the heart of a precious child is a beautiful thing. They long to see it more and more.
