Who is Lianna Klassen ?Lianna Klassen was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. She spent the early part of her life in Peace River North and started performing at the age of 8 at local events and musical theatre. Her extended family was and is very musical and she grew up learning to appreciate many styles of music. She wrote her first song at age 8 and began to write Gospel music at 14. Lianna has had opportunity to minister in Europe, Mexico, across Canada and the U.S. and is known as one who portrays deep truth and emotion through her music. A few years ago, God brought her into more of an awareness of the many wonderful and diverse sounds and drumbeats that He has created for His glory in the nations. She began to incorporate this diversity into her writing and musical style. Her last 3 recordings, Listen To The Sound, Love In The Ruins and Once Upon A Time Forever After are a direct result of this vision with their worldbeat and worldworship overtones. Lianna is the writer of Song for Canada, a song of intercession and healing for the nation. She is a worship leader and has lead worship in Conferences and Conventions across Canada and the UK. Lianna is married and has three children. She is based out of Calgary, Alberta, and enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and time by the lake when she's not busy with her music ministry. Lianna has released 4 CD's titled "Lianna-Swept Off Your Feet"(1995), "Listen To The Sound"(1998) which received a 1999 Juno Nomination, "Love In The Ruins, Hope In The Wasteland"(2001) which includes Song for Canada and a Christmas album "Once Upon A Time Forever After"(2002).
