After minoring in music in college she spent 4 summers touring England and Western Canada with various bands. Since then she has been featured as a vocalist and songwriter on seven CDs including the critically acclaimed A long time coming by DJ Jaspa.

Upon moving to Vancouver in the early 90’s, Tracy fronted many bands including the Gate One house band and was honored to be invited to record with the 200+voice Pacific Northwest Mass Choir (Black Gospel) as the first non-African American soloist. Tracy has also been active on the other side of the soundboard as the Executive Producer for 2 compilation discs.

"Reflections of Wonder", featuring talents such as Leora Cashe and Tracy Moar, was produced in conjunction with an event by the same name held at Point Grey Community Church in Vancouver. The purpose of both the event and the CD, says executive producer Dave Olson, is to "awaken the senses of church culture to how integral art is in experiencing God -- because in many ways, art has taken a back seat since the early days of Christendom." He stresses that the arts "have a way of impacting or touching parts of our beings that are otherwise unreachable simply via the word of God. To me, one of the greatest passions in life is to experience the wonder that unfolds when music, the centre of my soul, intersects with Christ, the centre of my spirit." The CD, he stresses, "is intended to reach the church community, as well as be a tool to connect with those that have yet to establish a personal relationship with Christ."
